Although we did not win in the Community Championship Project category, it is still such a great honor for Indigo Park to be nominated at the 2018 USGBC Sustainable Business Awards. Candace Dyal, President of Dyal Compass, LLC and Indigo Park, LLC, had this to say:
“Living a life that tries to make the world better – that’s pure oxygen. All great visions and creations are executed with ingredients that include others. Indigo Park was visualized and created with a ‘we’ in mind. Without Royal Indigo Construction, Cumulus Architects, Christopher Rose Architects, Wells Fargo, the project couldn’t have realized inception. Three Oaks and many more local South Carolina businesses are all part of Indigo Park’s recipe. Indigo Park is a 16 home neighborhood that has a 3 acre park. It’s a platform to connect the neighborhood and Kiawah Island at large. Every time a hurricane hits, a fire burns, a tornado touches down – Indigo Park is on the forefront of taking a step to reduce gas emissions, saving money for owners by having sustainable financial health while living in a home that will sustain the planet for a better future. And I believe Indigo Park and communities like it are the future!”We look forward to Indigo Park’s future and its impact on the planet. We hope Indigo Park will influence others to create homes and communities like it, by taking the health of the planet in their own hands and improving on it.
