Indigo Park will consist of 16 newly constructed homes built on 12 acres of land overlooking a picturesque marsh.
Clients have a choice of 4 beautifully designed homes, (Azalea, Sweetgrass Camellia and Palmetto), with 2 to 5 bedrooms and ranging in size from 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, with a guest cottage option. Each home site features marsh views of the Kiawah River and its tributaries. Indigo Park is the location of the HGTV® Dream Home 2013.
The building of each home site incorporates the most modern of green practices including the use of recycled and efficient local materials, water efficiency systems, energy efficient fixtures, lighting, appliances, geothermal heating and cooling systems. These efficiencies and sustainable features add up to significant savings on utilities bills and time-consuming maintenance.
Another attractive feature of Indigo Park is the "park within a park" concept. Dyal Compass donated over 3.0 acres of land within Indigo Park to the Kiawah Island Conservancy for the purpose of creating a community park and green space. The idea behind the land donation is to give back to Kiawah Island while cultivating a natural habitat and sense of belonging.
Indigo Park strives to be the 1st community within an exclusive resort with each home LEED certified by the U.S. Green Building Council.
